A giant wheel with red-black colored slots, outrageously spinning, whilst a silver ball being dropped on it. The silver ball bouncing from slot to slot and the wheel still spinning, and betters at the edge of their seat with anticipation. As the wheel comes to a still, few strikes fortune whilst many left with shattered hopes. That is the charm of casino roulette.

Roulette is the major event of every casino. Say it be real time casinos or online casinos, roulette is the icon at the centre stage. When you speak of casinos there are two primary things that come to everyone’s mind. Sheer luck and winning big. Both these aspects are the foundation stones of Roulette.

Many other casino games like Slots and poker are either small prize fetching or partially luck based. Roulette on the other hand, houses ever single ideology that people attach with the very concept of casinos.

    Types of bets in Roulette

Now the simple logic of the ball stopping in a single slot and deciding a winner, is very much simple and clear. What really spices up the online casinos at Taking Casinos and such other sites, are the types of bets involved in roulette. The entire variation of bets are categorized under two heads -Inside bets and outside bets.

Straight- When you bet on a single specific number, you bet straight. This gives the maximum odds on winning, with an odds of 35 to 1.

Split- Split betting is betting on two adjacent numbers that are horizontally or vertically placed on the wheel. The odds of split betting are 17 to 1.

Street- Street betting is when you bet on three horizontally placed consecutive numbers. On winning this bet, your pay out odds will be 11 to 1.

Square- When you bet on four numbers meeting at one particular corner ( four adjoining numbers of a block,) it is called square betting. The odds for square betting are 8 to 1.

Double street- When your are betting on two horizontal lines formed by six consecutive numbers, you bet double street. This is where your odds begin to diminish but also, your chances of winning increase. The odds are 5 to 1.

Trio- The trio bet is an interesting design of bet. Here you bet on three numbers, with atleast one number being zero. The other two numbers being among 1, 2 or 3. Instead of zero you could also pick 00. The odds are 6 to 1.

First Four– Justifying its name, first four betting means placing a bet on the first four numbers, 0-1-2-3. Your odds for this bet will be 8 to 1.

The inside bets are the major bets. Although to play a safer round, you could go with outside bets like 1 to 18, red or black, column bet, dozen bet and even or odd bet. These bets however, will only fetch your either 2 to 1 odds or 1 to 1 odds.
